Behold! The sky has fallen and dooms-night is upon us. This is a picture of a concept that came to me on day in editing class. The sun is the father of all life. It makes everything we have possible right and it gives us everything we have without asking anything in return. So... what would happen if he wanted it all back. I started in my usual constructionist method by making the ground and then a circle. I then added various layers and textures using different brushes. The grass by the way is actually the leaf brush made really small. The bow around the sun are the three colors of the sky at various points in the day. Dodge and burn was used to created the lighting effects on the ground. I'm extremely pleased with it.
